Based in Oakland, California, our projects are selected for the historic integrity of their existing structures and their potential for creating economic stability within their neighborhoods. Our focus is on modern functionality, progressive material choices, and the enhancement of building era charm.

Mint Condition Homes, LLC is a proud member of Build It Green™, named their member elected “Green Building Champion” for 2010, received an Oakland City Council Resolution in 2011 for green design practices, and is winner of the Oakland Heritage Alliance 2010, 2011, & 2012 “Partners In Preservation” Awards.

Founder & Principal, Mila Zelkha is an Associate Member of the American Institute of Architects, a licensed General Building Contractor (CSLB#974416), a Certified Green Building Professional, a Certified EPA Renovator, a Certified BPI Building Analyst, and a licensed Realtor® (#01857142). Mila received her BFA & B.Arch from Rhode Island School of Design and has a passion for history, personal narratives, and environmental justice.

Designer, Jordan Brown, is an Associate Member of the American Institute of Architects, a Certified Green Building Professional, and a Certified EPA Renovator. Jordan received her BA from Bryn Mawr College majoring in the Growth & Structure of Cities, and received her M.Arch from Rhode Island School of Design.
